Our mission
Our mission is to empower the community by supporting Afghan refugees, as well as helping orphans and widows. Our goal is to assist them in reaching their full potential and transforming their lives by providing the necessary resources and means to move forward.
Our history
Over 40 years ago, I left Afghanistan due to the Soviet invasion. After a year of waiting in Pakistan, I arrived in the US, driven by a desire for community empowerment and the hope to help orphans and widows affected by conflict. I've had first-hand experience of leaving my family, friends, and whole identity in order to form a new life in America, where I now actively support Afghan refugees in building their futures.
Our purpose
I remember when I arrived in Indiana; the community was incredibly kind and helpful, both monetarily and emotionally. To honor those who supported me, I have decided to establish a foundation focused on community empowerment to help orphans and widows, as well as support Afghan refugees in need. We are committed to ensuring that 90% of all donations go directly to assist Afghan families, both in the US and in Afghanistan.

Our Impact
Discover how Amerihelp The Afghan Orphans and Widows Foundation is making a significant impact on community empowerment and enhancing the lives of those we serve. We are dedicated to creating lasting change and consistently strive to help orphans and widows. Our efforts have provided numerous families with essential food, clothing, and funds for medical care and education. Additionally, Ameri Help Afghans have drilled four water wells equipped with pumps, solar systems, and installed pipes that supply water to 175 homes and two schools, while also assisting victims of earthquakes and floods. Our mission is to support Afghan refugees by fostering sustainable resources and opportunities.
